Why Work with a REALTOR®?

All real estate agents are not the same. Only real estate agents who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® are properly called REALTORS®. They proudly display the REALTOR "®" logo on the business card or other marketing and sales literature.

What's In It for Me?

When a real estate licensee joins the Association of REALTORS®, they earn the right to call themselves a REALTOR®. REALTORS® pledge to adhere to a Code of Ethics, which means that all their activities in the conduct of their business must satisfy the strict obligations of the Code. The term REALTOR® has come to connote competency, fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations.

The REALTOR® Badge provides assurance to the consumer that the real estate agent is an active REALTOR® in good standing with NAR.

In California, the badge displays a link to the California Department of Real Estate, and when possible, the REALTOR®'s market areas, areas of specialization, committee assignments, and photo.

About Me
I am a full time Real Estate Broker in Fresno, California. I obtained my BS degree from Fresno State University in June of 1974. I obtained my Real Estate Sales License at that time and worked full time as a sales agent until 1980 at which time I obtained my California Real Estate Brokers License. I have continued to work full time in the real estate industry. Over the years I have served in various positions with the Fresno Association of Realtors including Membership Chairperson, Grievance Committe Chair, Chair of the Multiple Listing Service and in 2010 I had the honor of serving as President. I am currently serving as State Director of the California Association of Realtors and have been active on the State level since 2005. I am also currently serving as the Community Outreach Chairperson for our local Association Foundation. In January of 2007 I had the honor of being named Fresno Association of Realtors "Realtor of the Year". California "Golden R" from 2004 to present. I presently own my own company and work full time serving the Fresno/Clovis area in California. I have been married for 34 years and have one daughter. I am looking forward to the challenges and rewards of leading our members as part of the 2015 leadership team.
